The 1998 Foley United Distributor of the Year Award was presented at the GCSAA National Show in Orlando and went to Jerry Pate Turf Supply of Pensacola, FL. This is the second year of what will be an annual award, as it combines criteria of outstanding increases in sales and a commitment to superior service levels with Foley United equipment.

Jerry Pate took over the Toro distribution from Gulf Shores Turf Supply and has taken the sales and service to new heights through Jerry Pate Turf Supply. In only his second year at the helm, they doubled the Foley United business in their Toro distribution territory, which consists of Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Western Tennessee, and the panhandle of Florida.
